People and attraction's are great, some of the signage at some of the Metro stations is hard to find but you just have to walk a little further and check all directions. Download City Mapper App, it is much better than Google maps which had me going over my own tracks several times though I did use both ,sometimes at the same time.

Paris is a fantastic city to visit however understand that some sites are very crowded. Many sites require timed tickets which need to be booked in advance. Despite timed tickets, the Louvre and Versailles are completely crowded to the point of being unbearable. Smaller sites are much better to visit -- we visited a number of smaller museums and sites that were much less crowded and enjoyable. We highly recommend getting a Paris Museum Pass or card that prepays admission at sites. You still need to get timed entries were required, but you skip the ticket purchase line entirely. If you are going to the Louvre, Versailles, or the Eiffel Tower, then this is a huge advantage. Paris is getting ready for the Olympics so there is lots of construction. I would say that English is readily spoken by most people we met, so we did not have at speak terrible French. Restaurants have added "English subtitles" to their menus, so ordering is easy. All the food was great, of course. We found people very nice and welcoming. Best of all, Paris is a walkable city and we enjoyed being out an about in the city itself. Definitely go visit Paris!

Paris was welcoming, beautiful, fun, absolutely lovely.
Paris was welcoming, beautiful, fun, absolutely lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed the museums, sights, and incredible food. Do make reservations well in advance to sights and restaurants! Also, we went to Giverny for a day, and it was phenomenal!
We can’t wait to return to France again!

Expensive and crowded!
Expensive and crowded! If you want to go to the Louvre or Versaille Palace book early and get there well ahead of time. Versaille sells way more tickets than they can actually accommodate so dont buy prior, just get there at first opening and be prepared to wait for ages in a long queue. We just walked away from prepaid tickets as we couldnt afford to wait in an impossibly long queue.
Be careful about advice on train directions; Parisians are notorious in France for sending you the wrong way, just for fun. Except it isn't funny.

It was the second time that I visited Paris, and just like the first time it was amazing. I visited places that I didn't visit the first time so I feel satisfied. What is very important to note is that people might be discouraging to see that Paris is not as clean as they expect but we must remember that for city the highest number of tourists visit annually, it is quite normal :)

A romantic city with world class art galleries and historic buildings. Some atmospheric bistros and restaurants are a delight.
The long distance underground, the RER, is very good. Metro interchanges can involve very long walks. Services are very frequent. Stations need more escalators and lifts.
I booked last minute and arrived flustered from a personal crisis - the hotel is super cute, literally one of the best locations in Paris, and the front desk staff was the absolute sweetest. Windows that open are also a huge plus for me and my room was across a little walkway so that even if I could hear other people from the courtyard it felt super cozy while breezy at the same time. Updated details did not feel cheap or too 'tik tok' like they sometimes do, kept the classic Parisian feeling whilst being very clean and welcoming.
I booked this hotel as a stop-over between travelling from Thailand to my home in Brittany, France. The train journey from Paris CDG airport to Brittany was delayed by a day, so I needed basic accommodation for one night. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was basic, but spotlessly clean and everthing worked perfectly. Located in a fairly central position in the city, I was easily able to take advantage of resraurants, banks and bars. I would recommend this small hotel to anyone visiting Paris on a budget.
The location of this hotel was amazing and this property was a great value!! It’s less than a 3 minute walk to the Pantheon.
More importantly, the staff at this hotel deserves an A+. They went above and beyond to help us figure oit where to get our COVID tests prior to departing back to the US. They then followed up daily to see how we were doing. We truly felt like they did everything they could to assist us anytime we asked. Absolutely the best staff we encountered in our travels across France.
It’s not a big place, but cozy! We arrived earlier than the check-in, but the great receptionist Olga has checked us in right away, it was very nice after a trip between cities. Internet was good, which was strange to me as two other hotels we stayed were with terrible internet. The room has all necessary facilities you require, it small but cozy. The breakfast is standard in Paris :) Overall it was a great 1-day stay. We could compare the stay at 3 hotels in France, this one was the best! thanks
The staff were lovely and attentive. Though the room was a typical size for France, the space is well designed to feel more spacious. The decor was elegant and more beautiful than the photos convey. The location was fantastic. We enjoyed walking to the museums, the Seine, while passing by the top fashion houses, famous bars and hotels along the way. The Metro stop is literally at the corner and was so convenient and also a good experience. Nearby restaurants were great. A perfect place!
The location was good. It's close to two train stations - one is great to travel from the airport to Paris and is located around 16min from the hotel, another one is great to travel to different cities in France (located around 7min from the hotel). It's only 30 minutes walk to the Louvre, Notre Dame de Paris, Sacré Cœur, and other beautiful sightseeing places in Paris.
The staff at the reception is kind and welcoming.
I appreciated the kettle in the room.
- I like the location of the hotail.
- I like how the staff really nice and welcoming us.
- I like the decoration of the room and how it is beautiful.
- I like how is quit specially during night time.
- I like how they are supporting us specially when I was planning to go to Disneyland land, they printed out the tickets for me to avoid any rejected to enter the land.
- the internet connection was great compirng to other hotels I satyed in France.
I've stayed in many small Paris hotels and this one had the best decor, was the cleanest and in the best state of maintenance of any of them that I can remember - exceeding expectations. Staff were perfectly helpful. There is free coffee in the lobby and a wide selection of alcoholic drinks to buy. There wasn't much fresh fruit at breakfast but the croissants were very fresh and flaky, not the cheap chewy long-life kind.
The hostel is a fantastic budget option for Paris. While nothing is cheap or in the city the hostel is a more affordable option. I stayed in the female dorm which was clean at most times, but more importantly quiet and private. The dorms are very clean and built to have privacy and safety. One of my best hostel experiences while travelling not as a backpacker but as part of a city trip.
Great unpretentious hotel situated in quiet side street at the bottom end of Rue du Bac. Perfect room and hotel size and facilities. Breakfast (extra, not cheap€14) excellent quality, quantity & variety. Nice communal areas, with complementary tea & coffee. Very courteous staff.
4 metro stations within 5 or 6 mins walk
Lovely part of Paris close to everything but not touristy.
Room was very comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful with bus tickets and directions. Location was lovely in the Montmartre area lots of cafes, restaurants to walk about and just that little away from all the hustle and bustle of Paris center, buses were cheap and easy to use if you have someone clever on the phone maps.
Artemisia Montmartre is a cute boutique hotel. The reception is very nice and accommodating. The beds are comfortable. Breakfast is fairly good. The televisions are large and are allow you to download apps, so that you can stream, which is really nice, as the another place I stayed in France only had tv without English subtitles.
The hotel I stayed for 4 days. According to me, this is the best hotel that we can stay with this price and cheap but very good quality hotel. If we come to Paris again, We will choose this hotel. The best advantage for this hotel was location and most of the places are in walking distance. I fully recommend to everyone 😇😇
Breakfast was great! The only thing I would have liked was a top sheet. We did not have a top sheet under the quilt. I think it must be a france thing because the hotel we are staying at now in the South of France does not have a sheet under the quilt. The top sheet keeps the bed cool and the quilt clean.

I liked the location to the Paris Marathon and metro, staff was very friendly, view from my room, but that's about it. Staff offered the spa for a shower after my marathon, since I was checking out the same day. That was very nice and much appreciated before heading out to my next stop in France.
The staff of this hotel is great and very helpful. We really liked the breakfast (it would be nice to add omeletes as it's traditional French food). All in all this hotel is probably the most "value for money" hotel I have ever stayed. Paris is pricey but the price of this hotel was cheap!
We had a nice and quiet room on 4th floor. Staff was available 24h and the location of the hotel is amazing! Public parking is on the same street and cost 16$ per day which is very cheap for Paris. All area seems to be really safe! We can definitely recommend this hotel!
It is the only cheap and comfortable hotel in Paris.
The cheapest I think. Good for students who wants a private room.
Rooms are clean.
There is a big green area next to hotel.
Friendly workers.
Nice atmosphere in the lobby.
Best choice you could make for a lovely stay in Paris!
Amazing location, super clean and bright rooms, comfortable beds.
Paris France hotel will definitely be my choice for my future getaways in Paris!
Best everything at this hotel! Fabulous view of a super cool courtyard! Great tub! Location the best! The food really good! The people here are the kindest in all of France! Thank you so much!
